The falling star is meant to symbolize the fact that in future conference realignment this conference will disintegrate much like meteors disintegrate in our atmosphere

I'm guessing its a shooting star...unless the AAC is as pessimistic as this board.

I was thinking the same thing regarding baseball CBM has a big, big recruiting year in front of him. In terms of FB I still think this team will surprise (green lens glasses?) so I believe we have a chance at top 25.

Which is the naive way of looking at exactly what @Roaming Bull said. So if you are a meteor burning up on your fall to earth and trying to upgrade your status than call yourself a shooting star if you like but that doesn’t change what you are or your trajectory.
