If Heath was still coaching BB, and Leavitt was still coaching FB, would we have an OCS by now?

I'll go a step further and say Heath is the best MBB coach since I started following USF; in all fairness USF MBB coaches spanning that time are McCullum, Heath, Antigua and now Bartow though. Holding

Not sure about football, but I think we'd have a basketball OCS by now.

I always thought Harlan had nothing to do with firing Heath as genshaft made that decision

Things haven't gotten better without Heath. Guess what, we don't know if they would be any better with Heath either.

Firing him was the right call, he clearly fluked into the NCAA run and had proven not to be capable of consistently (or even rarely) breaking .500. Why keep him around? Is winning 14 games better than winning 11 in the grand scheme?

We need a coach who can get us above .500 more often than not. That wasn't Heath. Sorry.

Heath was definitely let go one year too early. He is a good freaking coach in my opinion.

Bring him back....I know it will never happen.  But seems like a good fit if you take the name off the resume.  whats the difference between him and A. Grant? Stans resume is a little better.
