They will sign him for about 6 years 80M

 

No they wont. He's gonna get close to $120 million. Hell, Ryan Tannehill would laugh at the Dolphins if they thought about offering only $80 million.

Having an NFL starting QB to point at when recruiting QB's could help

I think the fact that the last two starting QBs have transferred out on CWT is more telling than a kid who signed with the program two head coaches ago.

Phil Simms being a 1st round draft pick, winning a Super Bowl MVP, and being the lead NF analyst for CBS helped Morehead State so much they almost dropped the football program. It's a non-scholarship sport, now.

Having NFL starters is a zero sum game for recruiting. If we don't have them it hurts, if we do have them all we are doing is keeping up with other college's who have NFL players.

So Bench transfered out from USF? He was one of the last two starting QB's for USF. Mike White transfered out because of system change. So can't really blame anyone on that.
