Not sure if you guys saw this article or not but here is what Bench said.

“I’ve been here for two seasons. Mike’s been here for two seasons and Quinton has been here for one. We’ve seen the plays before,†Bench said. “It’s been a good transition because the thing we’re doing differently is the tempo, not the plays.â€

So the new plan is to keep the fans more into the game with quicker 3 and outs instead of slow ones? Simply mind blowing.

First, it's definitely easier to change the tempo while still calling similar plays and formations.  The offense doesn't have to learn both new tempo and new playbook.

Second, the problem last year wasn't really the plays... it was the play calling and the execution.  The offense became quite predictable way too often... CWT had trouble getting the play called in time... and when the play was called, the OL couldn't consistently give the QB enough time... and when there was enough time, the WRs dropped a lot of balls.

So just because the plays have not changed is not something to fear.

Hoping either Flowers, Bench, or White really starts to pull away as the undoubted top QB on the roster before the season starts.

That game of QB roulette Willie played last season won't get it done. We need consistency and I really hope its Flowers, I really think he has the potential to lead a dynamic argument.

I agree with Jim about the execution part. Looks like they are still working that out at the QB spot (link above).

It might be Flowers' time to shine!
