I like seeing the guys buying in. I also think this D suites this team much better than the 3-4 scheme of last year. Having another guy down at the line helps our typical faster atheletic D linemen and does not force complicated schemes to make up for lack of size/players. The only part that concerns me is that a lot rest on Sanchez, particularly when it comes to the run.

If someone has time to update the 1st stringers on D, I would love to see it. Otherwise I will try to get to later.

Florida's all about speed and hitting, and I'm surprised we haven't seen more schools go to a 4-2-5 in Florida, especially with the prevalence of spread offenses. The line will need to step up, but there's no reason we cant do it and get lots of turnovers.Those defined us in the old days-just kept taking the ball away and stifling offenses despite long drives.

 

That's basically how we won the FSU game-just kept taking the ball away in the red-zone. Hopefully we can do the same this year.
