Where is all of this production from the quarterback position?

The problem I see is that folks are applying logic to decisions that CWT made. He has clearly shown that he can make bad decisions such as keep MW in to long, or bring Flowers in at inopportune moments, or let Flowers start with a total of 5 plays to chose from. No, CWT has demonstrated his stubbornness quite clearly and that IMO includes Bench being in the dog house last year.

This.

Clearly people don't understand that no one is implying Taggart hates Bench.  Taggart just doesn't like what Bench looks like on the field, for whatever reason.  So he puts other QBs that have the  "look" he appreciates, even if their production is inferior.  Happens all the time at every level of sports.  Great coaches put productive players on the field.  Good coaches will eventually realize the player that the "ideal" player isn't the best one eventually.

Then there are coaches that keep believing that the less productive player is one play away from "figuring it out", and will keep playing them no matter what.  Bill Belicheck thrives on picking up players that other coaches gave up on because all Belicheck cares about is production.  Taggart is a young guy that still cares more about being right than being productive.  One day he'll figure it out.  He might be at another school before that happens.

Say what now? I don't think MW is a great QB by any means, but his production is certainly superior to Bench.

Certainly?

White's statistics were better than Bench's in every single statistical category.  If people can't see that, then I don't know what to tell them.

Bench is nothing more than an average backup QB at best.

White has clearly been given every advantage over Bench.  Bench even played an entire game after White got hurt, after getting almost zero reps in practice.  And who got to play against our FCS opponent?

If people can't see why should White have much better stats (and doesn't), then I don't know what to tell them.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
