OL coach? we don't have enough spots to hire an OL coach, OC, and secondary coach. I "Hope" he's not the OC/OL coach.

If he's not the OC then either someone on staff will get that title or someone else on staff is getting whacked.

If anyone on staff gets the OC title then we're not moving to a spread offense.

I "hope" if he's brought on that it signals someone else on the offensive side is being let go.

 

That said, I don't expect a former P5 head coach is going to be a position coach here only, so I'm expecting we're looking at our OC, if he's indeed hired.

I wasn't sure about during his time but for a while they definitely ran the spread.  Definitely in the Brees era and when Robert Marve transfered there.  It wasn't an option based spread but more of an Air Raid, spread it out with 4/5 wide and sling it around.

They passed it pretty well with Brees and Orton there for a while. I believe Hope was the OL coach then.

He was an OL coach and a HC, do not believe he was a coordinator ever.
