If we beat UCF, our season is only 'less unsuccessful'.

UCF isn't a huge deal. We've seen how much losing to us mattered for them in terms of program development.

it could be considered an improved season, perhaps, but success is already out of reach for this season

 

hopefully next year, we will run like a well-oiled machine, this year we're still a rusty clunker

All I know is now that this new bar has been set, nobody ever should call my posts stupid again.

4 game win streak, with a bowl win, and a winning season is a hugely successful season after going 2-11 last year.

And even if we win out, if we win out, HAH! Even if we win out! Even if we play so far above our heads that our noses bleed for a week to ten days; even if God in Heaven above comes down and points his hand at the Bulls side of the field; even if every man woman and child season ticket holder left in the stadium held hands together and prayed for us to win, it just wouldn't matter because all the really good bowls would still sign teams from other schools because they've got all the good coaching!
It just doesn't matter if we win or we lose.
IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER!

You left out the part about winning 5 conference games for the first time in history .... and before we stop calling your posts stupid, you do know we only played 12 games last year ... or can we assume you counted the McSU game twice .... which would be well within your rights.

Dang, good call .... At 7-4 overall, why didn't we get a bowl invite? Not as many bowl slots to fill as there are today?

We had 2 wins over 1-AA. Nichols state and charleston southern. I think someone bailed on us and believe it was Baylor.
