At some point on the final drive the announcers also said that a field goal did us no good. Certainly don't think anyone thought we would be going for a field goal and it wasn't indicative of what was happening on the field. 

 

Pretty sure we get the 4th tier announcers on CBSS.

The announcers sounded a little harried when they said it, like they didn't think there was enough time to get a play off .... Bottom line, if they saw the head coach calling for a spike on 4th down and someone had to correct him, you don't think THAT would have been mentioned at some point??

The thing about White that's infuriating is he can have games like Houston and UCF last year, and the end of SMU in one moment and then have all the other games in another.

Yes.  This is what get's me, too.  Or the Cincinatti game coming off the Tulsa 2nd half comeback.  When he is hot, he's hot.  When he's not, he's not.
