Bench earned some goodwill from USF fans this week

QB play was WORLDS better than White last week.  

 

He should get the start against NC State.  Yeah, still made some bad decisions but he moved the ball a lot better. 

 

Overall, we should have probably won this game based on the defense, but thinking about where we're coming from, there is definitely some things to build on with Bench.  

What say you?

I'd evaluate Flowers as the backup. Shoot, I'd use him as a run threat, two qb system. If you move the ball, you get the job. And the backups need to be in order of doing just that.

Didn't say he did a great job.  Only that there are some things to build on.  

 

Remember the great season we had last year after starting our true freshman QB?   Oh, wait ... 

 

Again, let's build on the positive and work on the correctables (there are a ton of those) and expect better against NC State.

Not sure how much good will 14 of 36 can get you. But White was so bad last week that you're probably right.

We scored 10 points. Not only did we only score 10 points, we only scored 10 points with 7 turnovers!!!

 

The offense in command by White showed almost no flashes, the Bench offense showed a bit more, but was still pretty atrocious. He's earned minimal good will.
