You are aware that the USA was the last to send professional basketball athletes.

I put it to you, Charsibb, - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

IMO, no country should send professional athletes to the Olympics

 

 

Agree 1000% percent

 

Unfortunately, like college bb/fb, the Olympics are becoming big money ventures, and with that countries want to be represented as highly as possible.

That means little unimportant things, like amateur athletes... the one of the original ideals for the Olympics... get cast aside

Olympics should be the best athletes in the world period. I could care less if they are a "professional".

 

That's cause you're young and practical. I'm old and idealistic and remember when it was supposedly for peace and the love of the game
