Looks like just another case of what have you done for me lately. Was there 12 seasons, 6 NCAA's that included the 3 trips to Omaha ... but hadn't gone to a regional in 2 years when he was fired in 2013 ...

Mike Bell - pitching coach at FSU.

Local ties - was baseball coach at Brandon High School.

Went to Tennessee and went to CWS

Went to Oklahoma and went to CWS

Went to FSU and went to CWS

 

I keep hearing this name pop up in conversations among those who bring up the vacancy.
