Atlanta is ranked in total team D, 31st out of 32 NFL teams. I say give it a few more games, especially when Teddy is asked to throw more than swing pass and faces an NFL pass rush.

In my opinion at least. What the hell do I know, I grew up swimming, nono wayway I was going to get crushed on a football field! Now a kicker.....could have done that...until someone like Marvin shows up tree trunks for arms!

So you equate the Chargers Defense as an equal opponent to the Falcons Defense? One game seems to be a little hasty, but let's see how this plays out.

I wish Teddy well, he seems like a genuinly good person.

 

Oh, so now you are playing the opponent angle?  In the preseason you didn't factor in any of those things at all.  But most of us know that the preseason is little more than a scrimmage and is completely irrelevant.

Bottom line...Jags have a horrible D...a terrible OL...and almost zero RB's...and very few healthy WR's (now if all of their WR's were healthy, thats probably their deepest/most talented unit).

 

It was smart for the Jags to  let Blake have experience now...they were never going to the playoffs with  Henne...and odds are...Jags will finish 3-13 or 4-12...and still end up with a high draft pick in 2015 (assuming they didn't trade it away)

 

While the Bucs are far from great...probably only a handful of Jags would start for the Bucs if they were on that roster...that's how depleted of talent Jax is right now.

Bortles is a great QB.

 

He has had more success than any USF QB.
