amazing that HE didn't get any real punishment

you would expect real punishment when he didn't even have a **** charge investigated until months later.

athletes apparently can do things like that.

My 10 year old son carried a pack of $5.00 Pokeman cards out of Target (13 years ago) they called the police and I had to pay $300.00 restitution to them.

That's what you get for raising a thief.
I didn't raise a thief. Thank you very much

I was merely pointing out that I had to pay $300 dollars and that wasn't my son being punished it was me. Let's just say he never did that again.

A star football player can steal but it's ok with you,right?

They didn't just make you pay for the cards? 

 

I stole a few times when I was a kid. I think paying for the item and then my parents finding out (thus getting my ass kicked) would have done well enough.

Funny how you left the next part of that off, "just make better decisions". Sounds like he's placing part of the blame on the individual there ...
