Like someone mentioned earlier, heath only gets so many "grade passes" for basketball, same with taggart, and those are saved for the best recruits/team needs.

this guy is butthurt because egbunu was supposed to be a package deal with his son IMO nothing more.

I actually thought this guy was all ticked off because his son wasnt given a bball scholarship. Now that i read that he was even eligible, wtf is this dude's issue

His kid may have been eligible. He just didn't meet USF's tougher standards.

Here is the weird part, the kid who didn't make it in might have had better grades/SAT scores than the one who did.

Gotcha. So this might just be more of a **** move by heath than an ncaa violation, if there even is one

Right. Stan's team is so full of shooters he didn't feel the need to be bothered with another one ...

Hilarious thing is that, per a conversation with the Times, Davis says the violation is that "Egbunu's age documents and Nigerian school transcripts were falsified" .... Gee, I wonder who's probably responsible for that if true.

Sounds harmless. Get off my d, ncaa
We invited the NCAA on to our "d". Scorn (if that's what makes us feel better) should be directed at jilted father.

This is just bizarre.

Doesn't sound like USF committed any violations.

OK, so lets say some of the documentation was falsified.

Then we are in trouble if we (like one of our coaches) knew about it and didn't object.

John may be in trouble if it is true.

And the dad of the kid who didn't get in is a really quality human being that I would trust completely.

Bitter Party of One (Davis) .  Doesn't sound like USF has anything to worry about unless Someone at USF knew the documents were falsified.

Good luck proving that NCAA.  NCAA cleared him to play,  So that's on them.

Doesn't Davis realize that being bitter and bringing this "Non story" to light makes his son a Black eye that other Schools wont likely touch moving forward?

But, if he was really not eligible, we will need to vacate all of our wins and we will lose him (which would be huge, since he is the player we will be building out team around for the next 3 years)

This is what scares me the most

Agree will be a huge blow,  But realistically even if we vacate wins or don't,  We are not getting into the NCAA Tourney this year with this team and record unless we win the AAC Tournament( which we can or cant do independent of number of wins going into the conference tourney).

It will hurt next year as well,  but could also be the final nail in Heaths coffin at USF.( which wont be a bad thing to many on here , myself included)

Hoping for the best here and expecting nothing substantial to come from this.
