Part of the reason for the disparity of the UC game actual vs. announced was the thousands of tickets being offered for sale in the parking lot, with no buyers present, a seller literally could not even get $1 a ticket, because there simply wasn't anyone who didn't have a ticket who wanted to get in.

 

I don't think that will be the case for Louisville, so the numbers should be closer. I'll guess 37 announced; 29 in the building. (this is a pretty bold number, it represents almost a doubling of the number in the house). Cincinnati should have been a good crowd when you look at the other factors beside record. It was a 7PM Saturday kick against the 3rd best "name" on our home schedule.

Homecoming, Louisville travels well, glimmer of hope.....announced low 40s, actual high 30s.

I was sitting at a restaurant with my family for lunch today (in Boca Raton) and my ears perked up when they started to have a conversation about USF playing UL. They were excited about the game and were discussing their plans for their trip to watch the game. They were definitely Bulls fans. There is definitely excitement in the air amongst Bulls fans over this game. Therefore I think there will be a respectable showing at the game.

I'll never forget that game in '05. Not sure it tops FSU '09, KU '08 or WVU '07 but it's up there.
