Too bad he didn't decide on Kennesaw St. Could have seen him play here locally. He could have been their first signed player in program history instead of this guy. That would have been cool, especially if that program eventually takes off.

West Georgia and Valdosta have very solid DII Gulf South teams too.

All kidding aside, good luck to him.  He's proven he can win, and that's a HUGE start.

I think he had 4 offers, DIII, JUCO, Upstart fcs and he went with Cumberland University, an NAIA school that is transitioning to DII. is family being from Tenn may have something to do with it.

Wait he's going to be quarterback of a college football team where at least half of the students are nurses? This kid is a freakin genius. He is going to tear it up there and I'm not talking about football.

I think these NAIA schools are much closer to the way football was before money took over and screwed it up.

I was looking at area kids where I live and where they ended up. Why? Am I not allowed to post about players I like? I posted about Emanuel Beal. He was offered by USF, and doesn't have a thread here. If he did, I'd post it on his thread.
