Sold on Bench?

Bench looked better than our other options but that's an incredibly low bar. If that's what "sold" means, then I guess...

 

Bench had a better game than his numbers suggest.  The INT was on fourth down in desperation time, he had to try and force it or ball game was over anyway.  Once again there were drops, including a huge one by the WR that everyone continues to defend because he once had a big game.

How can you be sold on anyone after that performance? We are in trouble. Floyd = Bench.....pick your poison

The reason I like Bench the most is that he isn't afraid to throw to the receiver where the defender can't reach the ball.

We need to see some more underthrow than overthrow because there s a chance to catch the underthrow.

His numbers look better because of a couple completions on the last drive. We have to figure out a way to get the passing game to adequate

I don't think it matters who we want, looks like Taggart isn't sold on him, he will decide between the three, Floyd, Eveld or Bench.

Mostly on the offense. The defense was mediocre at best, but 1 score was our QB fumbled and FAU ran it back for a TD and then at the end of the game Bench was trying to make something happen and forced a pass that was an INT and ran back for a TD.

In the 2nd half I think the time of possession was close to 20 mins for FAU vs 10 mins for us. This offense is inept.

This game turned last night when the ball was almost touching the goal line and we couldn't score.  The fourth down call brought back nightmares from UConn and VooDoo 5

offensive line is terrible at pass blocking. Running blocking is adequate.

You must not have seen the stats either. The defense was not the issue.

When the other team's defense out scores your offense the problem is clear
