Sold on Bench?

id like to see Bench behind a decent O-line to see what he can do.

Definitely best option. Only one with legs to survive and possibly make plays behind a bad line.

Eveld can't seem to pull the trigger. He is too mechanical to succeed behind this line.

I'm sold on him starting the rest of the year. He brought a completely different energy than we've seen this season. Kid could be a special player for us.

Only problem I saw was his running style .... like a running back wanting to initiate contact. He won't last long that way and we need him to.

I liked his running style. Kid runs hard and tries to punish the defender. It's only a problem if he is doing it vs a LB or DL. He does need to be smart about his battles though and get down our out of bounds to live to fight another day.

Give him a couple weeks as the qb in practice and game prep and we could see better results by Miami. However, our OL must step up. There definitely WAS a different energy when he came in. It was exciting. It was productive. My guess is that taggart told Evald "it's yours to lose..here's your last chance." He blew it and Taggs moved on. Good call. It's time to move on with Bench.

I was late a little late to the game was the fumble for a TD on Eveld? Sounds like something he would do.

 

If Bench had a good OL  and some WR's he could be a little like Grothe.

i didnt see the game but it appears our defense isnt that good

Bench looked better than our other options but that's an incredibly low bar. If that's what "sold" means, then I guess...
