He was just fired at Grambling. NFL QB, college QB and HC, Super Bowl MVP, lived in Tampa.

If we believe in our head coach, then we have to trust the coaches he hired. (and we have Marquel on staff too) It would make little sense to fire a good coach mid season just to hire a different coach. Maybe if it were between seasons and we had a position open.

He wasn't available back then. He has a ton more experience than anyone on staff, including CWT. He's had multiple FCS conference championships as HC. You want your QBs up to speed quick, who can do it better?

A lot of coaches can be terrible head coaches but great position coaches
