Putting aside all the personal questions that have been raised. Putting aside Doug Williams track record at Grambling. No one has addressed the issues that we are maxed out on coaches. In college it is very rare to fire a coach mid season. We don't have a slot for him, unless someone wants to suggest we fire a coach after 2 games, we can't hire Doug as a coach.

Why? Has it happened? Are they in talks? Those are the kind of things that you want a beat writer's input.

"Williams had spent six years working in Tampa Bay’s personal department before he was pushed out last offseason."

Two games in with a tough system and resident QBs we already knew were not really BCS level and there's already headhunting going on?

smh.

Slick has been headhunting since before the first game

Actually I brought this up due to all the posts on here about the QB play. Maybe instead of looking for a walk on or throw in someone who isn't ready, get them more help training the QBs. Headhunting, btw, means finding someone to do something, ie a headhunter found my wife's corporate job. I think you meant witch hunt, finding a scape goat to blame for the team's lack of performance and fire them. I want to add people that can help and never said fire people, but instead look at who does what and maybe try to changing it around. An example of that was when CB was brought down out of the booth onto the field and the defense's play level went up.

This thread is indeed head hunting your out looking for a replacement for our current QB coach.

You've been pimping firing Coach Bresnahan before we even played a game, which was and is still ridiculous. Please stick to slobbering over anything UCF and playing video games.

He was just fired at Grambling. NFL QB, college QB and HC, Super Bowl MVP, lived in Tampa.

They need to do this ASAP.

We also need to look into hiring a former NFL allstar o-lineman that can coach our boys... the o-line has always been our main issue.

I got that, just a thought I threw out. And looking at the past couple seasons, with the pressure to win bigger than ever I think that is going to become less rare. Its happened this year, and it happened last year. Grambling is a D1 school. and several schools fired assistants last season, most notably GA Tech.

There's only one thing that will fix the QB production on this team, talent.

Why? What would a Doug Williams or a "NFL guy" do that would fix an obvious lack of talent? Especially with 2 games under our new staff's belt?

You people are hilarious.
