This isn't a loss, this was an ass kicking at the hands of mid level I-AA school

When's the last time USF gave up 53 points at home?

More like, when have we ever lost to an FCS school on opening day? Never...til now.

Did they look like a mid-level FCS school? They played lights out, very good coaching I'll hand it to them. Yes, we sucked, but they played great.

BREAKING NEWS: The Charlotte 49ers have inquired into USF's availability to be their homecoming opponent for all upcoming seasons.

Any truth to the rumors that they are going to hire a LB coach from the NFL as their head coach?

Sorry, guys.

Good luck the rest of the season.   I do hope you guys get things turned around.

Well, we started good like we did last season.    Now to avoid all those season ending injuries in the next few games like we had happen last season that just killed our season.   We had them fall like flies after the MTSU game last season.

Doc

Well played on your guys' end Doc. Wish we could have actually given you a game. Good luck the rest of the season.

Looked like the Sun Bowl tonight.  At least I didn't have to fly to El Paso to watch it.  That was Oregon out there tonight, wasn't it?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
