Is 1 Conference win a disgrace and reason to fire a coach? Yes but it wont happen.  He is coming off a NCAA tourney run, Tourney wins, ect.... Best season in the history of the program. We have one of the best recruiting classes coming in for next season,

We just fired our FB coach and have to pay him, we are likely getting the same or less with the new BE TV deal,  So Heath is safe for another year. Now if he repeats this year performance next season or fails to win half of the BE (whatever we call it) than he will be fired.

So until next season lets support the team, the coach, the players and hope for the best.

I like Heath a lot, but my mind about him getting onto the hot seat next year is changing quickly.  Not because we are losing, but because of the pattern of HOW we are losing.

Consistently blowing big leads and getting blown out lately.  When the team becomes an embarrassment and too brutal to watch, red flags have to go up.

Not saying he needs to be fired, but there needs to be a huge improvement next year or the seat should be getting red hot the following year.

Next season is our last in the current Big East. If we fire him then, who can we get to replace him?

Maybe he'll be half-decent once the level of competition drops back to CUSA levels.

I'm thinking with about 7 minutes gone in the 2nd half last night would have been a good time to do it.  Actually halftime may have been better.

I didn't expect much this year but man this is bad. That being said, our recruiting class just moved up 8 spots and is now ranked 20th. Lets see what happens next year.

I just keep wondering what is happening at half time?  We attack the basket in the first half and then stop in the second.  Also did anyone notice we came out of the tunnel with only about 2-3 minutes left before the half, while Prov came out and warmed up for 5-6 minutes.  I like Heath alot, but this has been tough to watch.

Heath is part of the blame, he micro manges every aspect of the game and takes the game out of the players hands. He does this because he is a micro manager or he feels the players are too stupid to play the game, get in a grove, feel it.

The players are a part(they are soft) dont want to go inside,  take the foul when its there for the taking, Instead they pass the ball to avoid taking the shot(which would cause a foul) They also spread apart when on defense allowing other teams  to come in without a body on them,  like they want NO contact.

Strenght and Condition is the biggest problem though, Rudd and others were gassed last night by the 17 minute mark in the 2nd half. We need to address this poistion asap or the problem wont get any better.  (Do we use the same Strenght coach for Football as well).   No excuse for our players to be gassed halfway thru a game(they are 21-22 year olds , coming off several days without a game playing at home). Time to MAN UP and stop being so soft!!!!!!

As to your #3, look at ND for a good example. 3 of their past 4 games have gone to OT, one of which went to FIVE OT's, and yet they had more fire at the end of the 4th game than we did to open the second half after a break.

Maybe CSH has 'em running gassers in the locker room during the half?
