We are officially ******.

UConn & Cincy working together, and now we've issued a joint statement with UCF. We've paired ourselves with them, dooming our program to this level perminantly.

UCONN & Cincy will find a way out. Im curious if they've just decided to turn their backs on us and not include us in our plans, or if we've decided throwing in with ucf is a better idea. Either way, we're screwed.

We HAVE TO partner with UCF because we have failed to get another partner... from what I have been told Louisville was supposed to be our partner and they jumped ship and tripped us on the way to the life boat.

While I hate to say it our future depends on USF and UCF working together to present a tasty tandem rivalry series so we can sell ourselves to the Big 12, or to the ACC when it gets picked apart in a few years.

This is the new world and you have to have a dance partner even if its an ugly wart covered slob.

Wow.....maybe we can pitch a package deal to a power 5...b/c we just burned our bridges in hopes of connecting ourselves to UC/Cincy

There is no "partnering" in this mess. If there were, we'd be in the ACC w/ Louisville. There is no connection with Cinci, UConn or anyone else.

Maybe we'll just throw in with FIU, FAU, FGCU, Bethune and have a Big F'n Party. We can work on those has beens at UF, FSU and Miami later.

This is what I've been worried about. We are now more closely linked to the southern cUSA schools than to the BE. Should the BBall schools take UC/UConn, don't be surprised if they pickup Temple and Memphis too, as long as they all park their FB elsewhere for now. And when the ACC needs to backfill, their BBall-first mindset could have them go after UC/UConn/Temple and maybe even Memphis before USF. Worst case scenario.
