But rumors are they are buying Big East name for $20 mil, and therefore could they Use the other $22mil to negotiate early real ease for all teams or just wait till 27 months is up and split it as starter money.

If they take the Big East name, a new conference while adding more MW schools makes perfect sense. Go to 20 teams, 10 east and 10 west division. For Olympic sports everyone mostly stays in their own division. That would make a nice TV package for a network looking to fill air time.
