this has been brought up a bunch of times....do you live under a rock? even with firing holtz and cosh, we're still paying less in coaching salaries than last year.

I avoided this forum for a large chunk of the season because of the general disposition of the posting, with most visits being to the Chat room only during games. That being said, where are the posts on the news of his contract being bought out? Or IF it will be bought out?

Not sure if trolling or serious....

Do you REALLY think we are going to keep Chris Cosh around?!? Hell even Skip mentioned the problems with our defense, and HE got fired. There's no threads or contracts that say the sun will come up tomorrow, but I can bet the farm on the fact that it will.

Keep him; if we are on the hook for the cash no matter what... Let him do the teams laundry or he can quit and forfeit the money we owe him....

I concur... if we have to pay this ass clown out regardless then keep him on staff and make him clean the camodes at RayJay with a tooth brush.

If you don't want/can't pay him off then demote him. This is done frequently. Remove him from DC and make him the "special" teams coach.

Here is the math.

2.0 (Holtz) - 0.5 (buyout) - 0.325 (Cosh) = 1.175M.

CWT is making 1.15M. Assistant coaching pool money same. USF pockets 0.025M. Not much, but it's something
