Honestly we played a lot better than we have all season today... But then again, that isn't something to be proud of.. coming off a bye week I expected a lot more

Props should not be given to the coaching staff...

But to the fans who will still back this team after today.

Thank you.

Before the game, everyone said we would get blown out. We just lost by two points on the road to the #16 team in the nation. Our best game of the year, by far. The coaching staff made several positive adjustments during the break. Our running game with Lamar and Shaw was terrific. The defense played a very good game, completely shutting down the run and getting Bridgewater off his stride in the second half. Even special teams played well.

Nothing to be ashamed of today.

I don't think most said we would get blown out.

No style points when you lose... go ahead enjoy your moral victory if that makes you feel better.

hmmmm....

starting to wonder if this all started back when we beat ECU in the PapaJohns.com bowl back in 2006.

Is this some evil plot by Skip Holtz to take our money and destroy our program from within?

evil bastard

You know ...

If you forward that idea on to McPornstash, he might run with it. You never know.

This is from the same group of people that were convinced we were going to lose by 40.

Well I feel like we can still beat anyone, and this game was terrible! This team can't put together a complete game. They still find moments of greatness and moments of complete bottom level football. Really as a fan this is pathetic. I could never stop watching my Bulls, but I know why people who don't care as much as me stop watching.

The time out after a first down to save 2 seconds and a down is unacceptable. We needed that time out more than anything and it was wasted due to a bad judgement call by a guy that makes $2 million dollars a year to play 12 football games. No excuse for his decision being a reason to loose one. I think he should get paid when we win. $2,000,000 / 13 (becasue we should make a f-ing bowl game) = $153,846.16. I WONDER IF HAVING THAT ON THE LINE EVERY GAME WOULD MAKE THE DECISIONS TIGHTEN UP. I mean seriously if a car salesman gets paid commision, why not a head coach. Pay the assistants well, but the head coach owns responsibility and juts keeps getting paid.

Dag nab it I am piiiiissssedddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm on to something here though. How about we use more of a logrithmic scale. With obvious incentives for Bowls, BCS, etc. A 1-11 team shouldn't pay more than about $100,000 for their head coach, and no one here would mind paying $3-4 million for a 13-0 head coach. HeII I don't think Woulard would blink to cut that check after an undefeated season. Their is just something wrong about all this. Skip knows the game and he makes calls like he is trying to make everything be difficult. MAKE IT EASY FOR THE GUYS AND THEY'LL GET IT DONE!!!!!
