I'm thinking read options and draw plays until they load the box, then go with a screen pass. Obviously that is too simplistic but something to that effect. BJ can run an offense like that with no problems. Think of the first half vs UF. We started to lose once he started to throw INTs on ~7-10 yd throws to their LBs

Give him time and protection in the pocket and I guarantee you he would have great numbers.

BJ may not be the best QB, but he is athletic and can make plays happen if given the opportunity. However, the coaches failed to make any changes on offense that are geared towards his strengths and we are paying for that now and so is he. Its funny that so many on here think that a QB that can't throw simple passes on a consistent basis, but can run, is our only hope.

Forget about FSU, we are dead in the water with or without BJ. Start BJ until the end of e season, or how about a different option...any transfers available? He still makes the same mistakes with interceptions and doesn't hold onto the ball tightly enough when he runs. I do agree that he gives us our best chance to win, but he's never received any negative reinforcement for the mistakes he's made, which I think plays a role in why he's still making them. I really dont understand why BJD has had a golden starting ticket his whole career at USF, honestly, Landi when he was a QB would've been perfect for Holts'z tall mobile QB offense. And as a student at USF I can tell you that BJD walks around campus like "hes the man" cutting people at the Argos and Andros without caring because "hes the starting QB." All i'm saying is its time for Holtz to make a statement for the future if he wants to keep his job.

It is too early to bail out on this season, although I do hope Floyd gets some playing time.
