I think when UCF commits learn about ALL the penalties and analyze how those might negatively impact their success on the field, they will think twice about going there. I know I would, if it was me in their situation.

agreed. I wouldnt necessarily rule them out completely, but I would consider it when compared to other programs who are penalty free.

I agree 100% but look at all of the knuckle head kids still going to stick with Penn State.

Unlike the big time football programs who have depth up and down the roster and can better absorb the loss of scholarships for a few years, UCF cannot and is now at an extreme disadvantage, entering a BCS conference. As it is, they greatly lack depth and this will only make it even worse for them for at least the next five years.

It's the same thing with Miami.

As I mentioned above, the powerhouse schools can better abosorb the sanctions because they already are stocked with great players.

I find it interesting that they call basketball and football their premier sports when they really havent done all that much lately. Their baseball and soccer programs are miles ahead in terms of competition and contention for championships. Especially now that they are coming to the Big East, both of those sports will see half the amount of wins their first few seasons. Unless of course they just catch lightning in a bottle and the Big East is the perfect conference for them.

Always called him A.J. Floppa. Definite swagger that was pretty funny because he wasn't that good a player.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
