I would much rather see Floyd play, I think he has a higher ceiling than Eveld...

If you think that, then wouldn't you want him to redshirt?

Eveld will likely be as effective as Floyd, with either QB we are going to have a very conservative offense Friday.

No point in burning the redshirt for him to play 1 or 2 games, especially if Eveld can play.

Floyd doesn't have a higher ceiling its just because Eveld is so tall it looks that way. :D

If we are going to lose these next two games I rather see us lose with Floyd than Eveld

From what I heard Eveld has a sprained wrist... which is why he stopped tossing the ball down the field against Miami, if he did not suffera sprained wrist then we maybe could have won, or at least took it to OT.

Oh well I'm looking forward to Floyd coming in... Louisville is a weak team this year and it should be a good warm up game for him...

Personally I hope Floyd comes out and has a 500 yard, 4 TD game so we won't have to endure the BJD show anymore...

Aren't they tied for the Big East lead?

Why not Ryan Eppes? Isn't he the 3rd string QB, and he's not redshirted..

Here's Greg's tweet that mentions an injury:

Holtz said he'll see how Matt Floyd looks as No. 2 in practice today, Tuesday before deciding if he's an option if Daniels, Eveld both hurt.

But he has said in numerous other tweets, and Holtz said in the news conference, that Eveld will be the starter if Daniels can't go on Friday.
