BYU would be best for the overall conference as a 12th member, but it doesn't look like this is very probable.

Whatever the BE decides to do, please do it with gusto. I would like nothing more than to have this all wrapped up and behind us come 1/1/12

BYU is the best team out there. If BYU or Temple refuse to come which is highly unlikely 1 of them does not join, then Toledo would be my choice for selfish reasons since I live so close.

I was reading some BYU boards, some like the idea, some are still holding out hope for the b12, they rest ( majoirty) want nothing to do with the BE. They think they are too good for us.

B12 isn't happening because of the "all sports" problem and their insistence that they play on Sunday. Football only will work well for BYU and raise their profile more on the east coast.

I'm starting to see Tulsa mentioned more as an option for the 13th or 14th slot along with Memphis. They strike me as more interesting than Temple.

Tulsa makes more sense since we now have 2 Texas teams... they also bridge the gap between Air Force, Houston, SMU and Louisville and Natti.
