If truth to WVU rumors, I'll go with:

East: UC/UL/USF/WVU/RU/UCONN

West: TCU/BU/MU/KU/KSU/ISU

Hold BBall tourney in STL and all invited to stay at my place!

If ACC really wanted RU/UCONN, why didn't they pluck them away with PITT/SU?

ru and uconn might not have applied.  Cuse and pitt were pretty quiet about the move.  Mizzou will go to sec or big ten.

Rumor on Mizzou board is that WVU's application was rejected by SEC. I can't judge the accuracy of it (gswaim tweet, they say).

Not only did WVU fight against the South, they became their own separate state.

My SEC friends say that is why they should not be in SEC.

Proves my earlier post about the SEC = Confederacy... Mizzou will get an invite, it was a Confederate State

I'm pretty sure Missouri remained in the Union -- they may have voted to leave, but this was ultimately blocked.  Much like Maryland, another Union state where slavery was still legal.

I've received at least four "inappropriate post" notifications on this thread. Please cease thw use of profanity and other inapproriate language.

Thanks,

Brad, aka Bulliever

If any of those were from me, please disregard. When I try to zoom with my iphone, while at work, not using company computer so that they don't know I am completely obsessed with this, sometimes I hit the "report..." button accidentally. I think that happened at least once today, so, I am not sure if that's all it takes for you to get notification.

In the grand scheme of things, 4 in 100 pages isn't really that bad.

This. They were a slave holding state that was not part of the confederacy.  KU fans still give them **** about it as Kansas was their free counterpart.

I think RU/UConn is Plan C for the ACC.  I don't know where I saw it, but there were two other scenarios that probably were not going to happen, one included Notre Dame and the other Texas.  So they were just assuming that the ACC would go with Plan C.

Nope.  Missouri voted strongly to stay in the Union and booted their governor for trying to help the South and hinder the Union.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
