You all notice the comments below the article?  Once again its our old friends the ECU fans feeling like they were jobbed and claiming to have more fans and market share than anyone else.  They really do believe that they are SEC material.

I see only two comments mentioning ECU, and neither is unreasonable.

It's the same story, word for word. Both are just feeds from the Associated Press. Still, probably the best thing the rest of the Big East can hope for, at this point.

I remain very concerned about the lack of any mention of USF in ANY articles, tweets, blogs, etc.

I guess Judy and Doug work very stealth.

One thing I don't see anybody mentioning is what happens when the SEC decides they are going to start poaching from the ACC?

I could see VT, FSU and a few others as additions.  The Big 10 could poach away too.  Just because the ACC grabs a couple teams from the Big East doesn't mean the ACC is going to remain in the current form.

That 8th largest college football market (13th largest total), combined with recruiting and the limitless upside of USF may pay off in the long run.
