Saw this on the killerfrogs.com message board. Wouldn't surprise me if this is true, but thought this was interesting.

KANSAS MIZZOU and KSU also leaving

(package deal to Big East)

Lots of wild Rumors running around out there but a new one is out there today.

It is being reported that A&m will announce for the SEC on AUG 22.

And if they do, the new rumor today is that KU, MU, and KSU will announce for the Big East in a package deal.

IOWA ST would fill in for MIZZOU in the unlikely event that MU got an invite to SEC or Big 10.

It is also a known fact that KANSAS has been talking to the Big East for quite some time mow and it is rumored that a package deal is already worked out and is sitting there ready to go when KANSAS etc say the word to pull the trigger.

KANSAS has stated publicly that they won't ever get caught flat footed like they were last YR.

Big deal.  Another non-factor school.  Cut from the Kentucky or Vandy cloth.  Haven't been revelant in two decades.

The big deal has little to do with A&M. It's how this impacts the SEC, Big12, ACC and SEC. It's gonna put a lot of teams in play. Personally I like KU, KSU and Mizzou to BE if they are as disgruntled as A&M was with the TX TV deal.

Me like. And even though it wouldn't make as much sense geographically as to the other teams, but I'd rather USF be in the west.

With the additional TV money this would get, we could buy a jet  8-)
