Umm, yes, that's actually kind of true. And, it was by design.

They also neglected the FB position.

WVU has notoriously neglected the TE and FB positions as well.

If a 3-4 defensive guy comes in here are you going to say we didn't pay attention to such a vital position of NT?

despite the scheme you run, if you can land a good player at any position, then you'll find a way to get them involved.

And how did that work out for WVU once Owen Schmitt left?

We were never really good with the spread offense.

Glad that Skip sees how valuable the TE and FB position are.

Didn't WVU have a really productive FB back a couple of years ago? Kinda like a Mike Alstott with long blond hair? I seem to remember him running over a few people and he could catch the ball out of the backfield.
