I would definitely go to that...  Though I'd prefer the Gator bowl due to proximity....

the only two bowls that i would like to go to that are left are gator/sun or meineke.

Unless we get our fans to travel to ALL Bowl games no matter the location and opponent, we will be second and third choices for the bigger bowls.

Ya know CDOA may not have enuff teams eligible to fill all thier bowl games.  I don't know when PapaJohns picks but it could bode well for another conference vs the BE team.  Bulls deserve a better bowl if they run the table on UL and Pitt.

IF we beat Louisville we need to start chanting GATOR BOWL and hopefully their reps will be present and we can impress them.

Getting as many fans to the UL game is a BIG KEY.

Remember those Bowl officials will see

WV at Cincy with around 30,000 and UConn has avg under 40,000. Our attendance avg is over 50,000. If we can get close to 55-60k at this game and WIN OUT. It could make the difference.

Gator Bowl won't burn their selection this year on the Big East.  They can wait another year or two to select basically us, Rutgers, or WVU again.

Memphis beating Southern Miss yesterday pretty much wrecked that possibility. They've both got five wins now, and will probably get to six.

That's right folks, our bowl opponent could be MEMPHIS.

when do the big east bowl contracts run out?  the current situation is absolutely terrible.  who the hell cares about going to Birmingham to play to Memphis?

2010 ... two more years AFTER this under the current contract.

It's hard to make changes because the other conferences have to agree.
