USF V FSU would be the backwards/frontwards bowl.

UCF is in 1st place in C-USADUMMY league - go figure?

I also prefer J'ville v Charlotte but would do either.  Birmingham is more realistic though I bet?

I had a horrible time in Birmingham last year....we went out ot the 5 points area and there was no seperation between fans that the car bowl had...this created a bit of a hostile environment, but there was not pushing or shoving...however the B-Ham police got all freaked out and started arresting people...it was a nightmare.....the stadium was just awful.....the hotel was a joke.....I would, after losing 3 straight conference games, consider the car bowl against FSU a good finish...this would help us solidfy ourselves as a part of the big three...and move FSU to a part of the big four......

This would be the ultimate bowl matchup for me.  I don't care about BCS now, so I would love to play another Florida school.

Man.  That would suck.  See what happens when you lose to UCONN?

ROCKYTOP,

I agree about the BIG EAST bowl line up being weak. We need to trade the Pizza and International Bowls for better ones next go around. Hopefully, the Tropicana Bowl in ST PETE will become a reality because I wouldnt mind that destination if it was a match up against a BCS conference. Also, I wouldnt mind seeing the BIG EAST trying to align itself to the Champs Sports or Liberty bowl if they get the chance. Things should get better with the new bowl contracts.

I hope not and I seriously doubt it. It was a lousy place for bball, a lousy place for concerts and as attendance shows a lousy place for baseball. I wonder when they did the name change for the Rays why they did'nt go all the way and call themselves the St. Pete Rays. The Trop. sucks and the location of the stadium isn't any better.

I agree they need to work out better bowl venues in the future or fork out some heavy $$$ to improve the ones they have. The PZ Bowl was a joke.
