Where I come from 1 for none is also uneven

But one for none isn't a series.

And this is something to be proud of because ...............?

Opposing fans purchasing season tix for a single game is something to be proud of, IMO. Imagine if we get some Tampa local who purchases Bulls seasons tickets because his school is coming to town to play the Bulls. He goes to that game and the rest of the season and in the process, falls in love with Bulls football. We come out of the deal with a new fan.

I'm pretty sure that both USF and UCF had fans of other teams buying season tickets for years. It's definitely a good thing.

You guys would then start complaining that we don't have enough home games because of the 2 for 1 commitments we have.

By the way if you look at our schedules for the next 6 years we are now missing 12 home and 12 away. Perfect set ups for 1-1 deals.

Woolard in his short stay has gotten

two 1-1 deals from UM

1-1 with North Carolina

1-1 with Kansas

and we have known our 2006 schedule for awhile.

Overall he has proven very capable in this dept.

I do not think Texas would "wax" us in any year that was proposed.   Pound us by 2 TDs at UT?  Maybe.  I see both sides of this argument and the correct answer won't be known until we see what else we get on the schedule.  If we get a 1 for 1 with Baylor , I would prefer a 2 for 1 with Texas.  If we get a 1 for 1 with Oklahoma/Colorado/Penn State -type program then I would be fine with it.

The other side is that Woolard puts off any 2 for 1 on the theory that as we get better and stronger, that a 1 for 1 may be on the table in a couple years.

what an opportunity to play a great program like texas

only  a loser mentality says no

usf athletics needs much higher expectations

Yep like scheduling the Samford Bulldogs at the RayJay for 2010.

USF has been 1-A all of 4-5 years and BCS for 1 and we're to good for a 1 for 1 with any other BCS program?????

Texas wouldn't wax us?   How many would we score on Texas?  0   -   3 maybe.

Any 1 for 1 that DW gets us with a BCS program for the next 5-10 years is a good thing.  Period!

And lets put 1 for 2s behind us for good.

Every major College football team sets up these "warm up" games.
