That's really wishful thinking.

Too many things have to fall into place for that happen.

It certainly could happen, but looking at the course of our fan base over the years would lead me to believe that we're not going to be in the position to expand that soon after the stadium open.

I'd love to be proven wrong though.

If we have sold out in 2027 with 10K on a waiting list ... I don't see why we would wait.

I can remember when the Bucs had a 10 year waiting list. This year I could buy tickets on Groupon.

I'm curious to see who on our future schedules buys out gams.

1. I can see Notre Dame buying out the game in Tampa (or both games). I think stadium size is an issue, and we may have to agree to Ray Jay to keep that game. They want to play in front of their fans, and will want a bunch of tickets.

2. NC State has already told us they may have to buy out the game, per ACC requirements. (which may lead to Miami and Louisville buying out too) - as the ACC has told their member not to play any more road games at G5 schools. Of course, the ACC has bigger issues to worry about.

3. I'm not sure we play both games at Alabama if we keep getting better, I could see them buying out the last one.

This list obviously changes if our conference changes.

Speaking of that, I hope we have a seat to seat mapping for the seats in Raymond James to our stadium.

ACC will have us in it very soon is what I am thinking.  Bye bye FSU

Just my hunch, they will let people pick in prioirt order, as opposed to trying to assign the seats based on what everyone had before.

(I was there when we did it for the last football move, and I was a donor and ticket holder for the Sun Dome post renovation reseating, where people could make their selections)

And remember, "priority" means who's giving the most that day. Has nothing to do with how much you've given for the last 25+ years.

I just read an article on how the generation coming in (gen alpha?  I lose track) is significantly less into sports than any other preceding generation.  If this is a trend, then our stadium capacity is prescient.

Think it's a combination from what I understood.

I sure hope so.  Back in the day a huge deal was made of priority points which included how much you donated, spent on tickets and actual attendance scans.  Did this system just go by the wayside?

I think so. Even as a student there used to be a point leaderboard on the Athletics site I believe it was. I hope they track road games attended too. Should be some bonus points for touring with the team on the road.

Was fun as a student because that leaderboard made it competitive.
