It has been a few seasons since ive gone to a game, but man they are so much better than I remember. Maybe it is due to how bad the teams have been but they have gotten so much better.

Sat right next to them at the bowl game and the songs were awesome. I especially like the faux FSU chant thing where they do the ohhhh ohhhh oh oh. I could see it being an awesone chant.

I went to the game with a guy who was in the Purdue marching band many years ago and his kid marched for Florida.  This was the first time he saw HOT and said they were superior to a lot of bands he sees at many games every year.  I honestly wouldn't know but I'll take his word for it.  GO HOT!  GO BULLS!

The band sounded nice and tight.  The proximity of the stands to the field made the sound even more impressive.

Now, if we can just fix the pre-game "east side... west side Goooo Bulls" next year....

I was in HOT band from 04-06.  I absolutely feel like they sound sharper this year than the past couple years.  Think maybe COVID high school years hurt some players development before coming to college?  Could be related to something else, but that was the only reasoning I could think of.
