It’s amazing how bad they are. I’ve never seen so many WIDE open receivers in my life. We make every teams QB look like a Peyton Manning or Patrick Mahomes. I haven’t played in a game in over 25 years and I’d be able to put up 300 yards on our d.

The difference between Todd and previous DCs is the aggressiveness in play calling.  Sure, he may be a bit too aggressive in some situations, but the fact is that the team is lacking talent on D.  Our front 4 is incapable of getting pressure, hell even under blitz packages they lack pressure.  Our secondary lacks talent to play man to man, hence the gaping holes due to zone coverage.  It’s either get burnt over the top, or play soft secondary and pray the rushers force mayhem or stop the run.

This D needs depth, talent and time.  We have seen that they are better coached this year just by looking at open field tackling.  I’m excited for the future, and understand we aren’t going to have it this season.

stop making sense.  it's easier to say fire everyone every time we lose a game

the lack of talent is proof these guys cant recruit not an excuse for their failure

we hired another inexperienced coach to be the head coach

If the young players aren't much different than seniors now...then you should play the younger ones with more upside. The seniors aren't ever getting better.

Let them get some game time experience for next year.

The play-by-play announcers kept repeating over and over during the Memphis game that USF has the #1 G5 recruiting class for next year.  Not #1 for the AAC, #1 for all G5 schools.   USF has never done that before.

Any reasonable USF fan knew this year would be a transitional year.   BTW look what is going on in Colorado.   After a few cheap wins Dieon Sanders is making a fool of himself.   He used that transfer portal like he was getting free agents in the NFL.   How has that worked out for him?
