Real question is how so many of you all didn’t think he was the guy. Asking when gerry would be back and should start…he was always the guy

I thought he was the guy since WKU.  For his age, and the situation of coaching and offense being changed, I think he is above average. Then I came here and saw the reaction to his gameplay, and I just turned around and left.

I think BB showed promise last year and has had 2 ok games and 1 real good so far. It is way too early to talk about best in program history yet. I like what I have seen so far and he has more than enough potential to be out QB for his 4 years. That said, he is still real young, the transfer portal can make or break teams and coaching changes can happen. Let’s enjoy watching his development and hold off on comparisons until his senior year.

We need to get Archie some snaps

If BB goes down we're screwed

And if he keeps rushing for 150 yards a game this is more and more likely to happen

We're not the only team in the country with a QB that runs.  Back ups get their reps in practice.  Game reps here or there if possible.  Hope the starter doesn't get hurt.  If he does, we hope the back up is prepared enough to lead us from there.  That's how it goes.

Yeah they usually get reps but then you see why they are not starting when they get in the game ask Bama.

So our QB depth chart is

Brown RS freshmen

Archie RS Freshmen

Isaiah Carter True freshmen

Then PWO Ryan Bolduc

So I agree having GB would help the  team immensely as a back up to coach guys up ,relief or spot starter if someone cant go.

We got four qbs now in total that don't have a  lot of experience playing college ball.

GB seems to be a great person and competitor.

Depending on how late in the season it is, I wouldn't be surprised if IC is qb off the bench ....

I thought about this more and I wouldn't want to break BB's flow.  It would need to be if we are way up in score in a game in the 4th.

I wouldn't say the O Line was stellar yesterday.  Not a lot of holes for running and, while BB had a bit more time to throw, the QB had to move around quite a bit.

I have been impressed by the kid’s release time- seems like an incredibly abbreviated release time with what appears to be incredibly powerful throwing power.
