When do you bring him in. Faster time then Horn in the 100m. We were discussing in the stands during Bama game that there should be some type of play with him when it was obvious we could not move the ball.

There were probably 1 or 2 players on Alabama's roster just as fast but maybe they don't play D. Thought we would see him Sat night on jet sweep or screen just to see his jets go.

So what do you do for the remaining games? Think CAG knows that 6 wins is the initial goal. If you bring him in against Rice and he is a difference maker, screw the redshirt, he is a go for rest of season.

I would bet Rice and Navy have no one close to his speed on their defense. I say CAG needs to see what he has with this guy Sat night and not just being some KR specialist. Clearly we need a spark on offense.

Bama plays a sound, physical defense. Probably not the time to break out 5'10" 170 lb JeyQuan Smith for some end arounds and such. Going forward, I think we'll start to see he and Tyree Kelly get in the game a little more.

May also be a matter of better grasping the offense for both of them, because they've both got some good physical traits (Smith's speed, Kelly's size at 6'3" 198 lbs).

We've definitely gotta get more out of our receiving corps though. Byrum hasn't been completely in sync yet, but it's not like he's had a boatload of wide open receivers to hit.

Smith and Kelly should both be playing.  They can't be worse than most of the guys we are throwing out there.  And when I say most, I mean everyone but Atkins.

You put them out there are select plays. These are guys that should be seeing 5 or 10% of the offensive snaps at this point. I don't necessarily mind saving them for conference play, but we better see some new blood out there on offense against Rice if we struggle to move the ball.

DO NOT SAVE ANYBODY! Screw redshirts. There's no guarantee any of them will be here next year, or certainly 4 years from now, so play the best players.

Honestly, I'm sure CAG isn't even thinking about that at this point. He's playing the best players he and his staff think give us the best chance to win right now ......

I am hoping he brings in at least one the true freshmen for some speed and motivation to the other players to player better. I think we will see more short and medium passing routes. I am hoping to see some crossing routes, screens, and slants used with fake handoffs. We have Dukes and Wright that seem to be above average backs. I do not know why we are not running them more outside of the the tackles like a toss, sweep, or double toss.  I don't know why we didn't try any trick plays versus Bama when it was tied.

This is very likely the case.  CAG and the staff are saving redshirt seasons for now to see if anyone else gets injured....  we will likely see some freshmen later in the season, since they can play in a few games and still call it a redshirt.

Once we get to the FAU game and after, you might see them start getting playing time.

I think we get Hill back out there at WR....He was a high 4 star WR out of high school. Happy he's not on the defensive side of the ball now but maybe he has hands.
