On offense, Kelley Joiner is a much needed breakout.  Senior season.

Definitely rooting for Kelley to stay healthy this year. He's shown some flashes in the past. Would be great for him (and us) if he could stay healthy and put up a big year

Haven’t heard him mentioned at all, so I’m guessing he’s not a factor yet, but I’ve been waiting for DE Michael Williams’ name to jump in there at some point. The kid has size and put up video game numbers as a prep in Michigan. I ran into one of his high school coaches just by chance one day - not soon after Williams signed with us - and he told me the kid was an absolute stud and Michigan State was after him hard until his knee injury. Maybe he’ll just never completely recover and reach his potential . . .

Almost broke the sack record in Michigan, he was redshirted so yeah we will start to see him this season I imagine.   This DL should be greatly improved this year.

Torn ACL as a jr, then 23.5 sacks and punted as a sr? Yea, I think he might be decent.

Oh man I hope you’re right…even if we were remotely better on D we could actually compete in this watered down AAC.

There is nothing from fall camp that I have to base this upon, and he likely starts of the year behind Atkins, but I like the tape I saw Naiem Simmons. We definitely have two consistent slot receivers in Atkins and Simmons. I think Simmons has more big play potential and I hope they find a way to utilize his skill set.
