Over the twenty plus years as a Bulls Football fan, I have enjoyed periods of time when we have had players that have dominated on the field.  Andre Hall, Matt G, Selvie, Marlon Mack, BJ, Quinton Flowers.   Each of those periods was so exciting and I am looking forward to the future.

Who could be next?

Jason Vaughn and possibly Jonathan Ross. Vaughn is in his best shape and got ripped this summer. Ross was 2nd on the team in sacks while coming off the bench. The new guys on defense are cool, but I feel these two will shine on defense. I'm just ecstatic about our defense this year.

Not  sure if he will breakout this year or next but JeQuan Smith at WR, ran a best 10.39 100 and appears to have great hands from game film...think Jimmy Horn but even faster.

If one of the transfers like Michael Brown Stephen from Minn who I am also high on pans out and Smith there is a possibility we actually got better at WR for this year.    Can't wait to see what all these additions do this year.

Jequan Smith and Jaylen Johnson are 2 freshmen I think will see the field as Kick returners and jet sweep packages. Both have elite speed.

Wright . He had some big games against big time opponents in the SEC. I think his floor is Cronkite.

He kind of broke out in his first two starts last year, but I think Byrum Brown is poised to set the world on fire in this offense,

I really hope he runs the ball better than Walter Cronkite, did he even play football?

Maybe Ben Knox…he’s the only player we currently have on a preseason watch list.

It isn't for on field play though but doing great things off the field for his community. Either way hard to root against him breaking out.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
