Slow down chief. Don't equate having no "expectations" with not thinking positive going into a season. I've gone into every season thinking positive .... well, except one .... and am disappointed when it's not a good one. It's the way I handle good, bad or unknown teams going into a season.

Ok, what positive thoughts do you have on this season, what is your expectation, projection or whatever you want to call it? What do you expect our record to be?

The problem is that many people on this board is scared to be wrong or can't handle a failed prediction/expectations. So many rather predict we lose or have no expectations, than to think positive and be wrong then disappointed. Its safer way to cope with supporting a bad team. Many are so stuck on the past failures that they let a lot of s**** get on their green and gold goggles lol They arent f*******"g with the koolaid any more lol They will all come around when we start winning.

No problem with being wrong, hell I applauded the CCS hire, I just don’t project what I know is close to impossible.  I am projecting 7 wins this year, was at 6 but decided to go big, nothing to base it on except that we have a good O with solid QB’s and skill positions, line questionable but I feel we will put a lot of points on the board.  Our D is a huge question mark but will be better than last year and not be completely incompetent.  Losing is contagious as is winning, we will be respectful this year IMO.

I think you didn't see the "or" have no expectations part which doesn't mean "not positive."

I view no expectations more as a neutral stance.
