Haha, I’ll confess, this was probably my version of a drunk text (I don’t drink, but it was 2 am, the Tigers lost 12-2 to you guys and this intermittent fasting sucks, haha). Rereading it, it was a bit melodramatic. I still think we were way ahead of SDSU; even with their history, up until CJS, we were pretty high on the G5 list. I am SO excited about the news that the OCS “will” break ground this summer and I do have hope for better days, but it’s just been a tough stretch.

I am in the camp that the only thing USF has to worry about is USF.  Completely irrelevant what happens around them, if they continue to suck at this level then they will continue to fade into obscurity regardless of what happens to FAU, U or N TX.

Now if Herman at FAU does great things like did at Houston and Golesh doesn't out perform him then USF Athletics will be behind Fau got the better hire in Lane and  the Herman versus Golesh debate will be interesting.  I also don't know why we keep hiring FAU  coaches that were fired. In 5 years of AD MK we have not did anything  worth mentioning in basketball or football. In the last 5 years FAU, UCF, USF,  UF, and Miami have out performed USF in football. This is a major concern . I think the IPF and OCS will help recruiting, but there is no tangible evidence it is more important to winning then having a quality coach and athletic director.

LOL .... It did seem a bit out of character for you, but considering the hour it was posted, drunk texting did cross my mind. Having gone though even a short bit of fasting here recently, I can commiserate.
