I don’t believe he’s signed yet either …

K'Wan Powell is gonna breakout this year.

Came in that Jimmy/Timmy class with offers from LSU and FSU. Cracked the 2 deep in fall camp as a true freshman before hurting his knee and missing the entire season.  Ended up being our RB3 this year in terms of yards and averaged over 5 yards per carry.

In high school he had over 3700 yards on over 10 yards per carry. Can't wait to see what he does with more opportunity this year.

Yea I expected him to have his breakout last year but seems like he wasn't at 100% and still did good.  He could be a really good one.

With Hamilton and others while I do miss Battie we should be fine at this position.

Also curious to see random players we have breakout that Scott just overlooked.

I'm still convinced that if Mangham and Joiner never get hurt Battie is still RB3 last year and finishes the year with like 75 carries. Idk if it was playing favorites, trying to keep promises, or just incompetence but it seems like Scott wasn't always putting the best guys on the field.

I think that is absolutely correct. Recruiting under Scott was decent.

The hope is that Golesh can bring out the best of the players that are already here.

Nay’Quan Wright might be a name to keep an eye on.  He's got an OV scheduled I believe and his former teammate who just transferred to USF responded to one of his tweets.

Just realized Dominic Gonnella plays MiLB in the offseason. Would have been nice to snag him for both sports out of Bloomingdale.

Running Backs I think we have talent there. We have

Wright, Joyner, Powell, Dukes. All capable and similarly built

Career Stats

Dukes 96 attempts 400 yds 7 tds

Powell 24 attempts 123 yds 1 td

Joyner 239 attempts 1256 yds 3 tds

Albritton 12 attempts 72 yds 1 td

Wright 189 attempts 753 yds 5 tds

Plenty of talent and experience, someone will have a big year
