So how good/bad was this recruiting class considering the situation?

I think the NIL is going to kill the interest of college football for all the teams that are not at the top. AD MK really missed the mark on hiring last coaching hire for realignment and set us back further than ever in the college football world.

Of course however the sport is already regionalized and we already have the NFL.  This won’t be fatal right away but it will severely damage the sport.  The two bad misses in a row for us may prove to be too much to overcome, only time will tell.

Got to meet him at the half last night. He's been playing a lot of golf and his face and arms showed it. Needs to use some sunscreen. He introduced himself and was pleasant. I was thinking, yep, know who you are. But thought it was nice that he did. Got a sense of his intensity just the way he was talking about the game.

Well lets hope he brings in lots of talent transfer talent to fit our needs rb ,w r,ol ,dl ,lb , db , and kicker.

He needs to recruit top heavy on  defensive lineman right now and at least try to compete with the so-called bigger programs for the best talent that he could get and let the recruits tell him no and not his belief that he compete with bigger programs for high level talent

Nice in theory but what is his angle? He has a thin track record in coaching while inheriting a 1-11 team. It feels like it’s shaping up that we will be able to keep a few good, but not great, players via NIL money and Golesh is going to have to find some diamonds in the rough and 2nd chance players.
