If its someone coaching this weekend who could it be besides Chadwell? Any other ones to look out for?

no body could have thought deion was choosing usf over a big time school

winning will bring back the fans

maybe the new head coach will bring in leavitt as a dc

Should have just hired Tom Herman anyway but I wouldn't be mad at all if we hired Dan Mullen at this point.

After getting played by DS, I can see MK turtle shelling and going the safe route. I seriously doubt that he has the fortitude to make the difficult, but correct decision.

Turtling is how we lost the UCF game so maybe that's our vibe.

That would be the only way to salvage or wait for wins.

"They're not doing a great job of hiding this," said a staff source. "If he backs out of this deal, it would be a huge problem for Colorado."

On the bright side, there is a better chance that Byrum Brown sticks around.

My choices would be... Leavitt, Diaz... then... who is the best HS coach in the bay area? I'm sick of the hot up and coming name, find someone with local connections and Xs and Os smarts. Save some money, and focus on football, not a perceived good hire. Not sold on Chadwell. Remember, Malzahn started coaching HS, just find someone who can evaluate and maximize talent. This is what Leavitt did, and it was our best Era.

It would be difficult to get him to come back as HC. He would never come back for less.

It’s not Leavitt. It has t be someone coaching this weekend

Unless it was necessary to show this delusional fan base that there is no coach that we want that would want to be here except Jim.

It would be fantastic if we convince him to come back!

I don't share the pessimism man sorry. I don't know where our fan base got the idea that only Deoin Sanders could get us back to a bowl game.

Deion came with baggage, was playing games, and it's still unclear to me how good of A COACH he is versus reeling in a bunch of 5 stars at an FCSVprogram which of course you'll win.

We took a shot. It didn't shake out. Why is the sky falling? We'll be OK.

I think it’s because now whoever we get we’re going to take a massive hit in recruiting. You always do when you get a new coach unless it’s somebody like Deion Sanders. Our wide receivers and heck even our kicker have all transferred out. So now you take what was a good offense and now you have nobody to throw the ball to. You have recruiting that’s gonna take a massive hit. I just don’t see how we’re going to be OK short term. It is going to be a slow rebuild
